Welcome

We will always offer you the warmest of welcomes at our happy, successful and inclusive Church of England primary school. At St. Andrew's we work together to teach and inspire all our children to be the best that they can be and flourish for God, for others and themselves. Our School was established by the Church of England, and we are proud of our strong Christian foundation and the links with our church and the wider community. At the time of our 150th Anniversary we adopted Jesus’ commandment to “Love one another; as I have loved you,” as a statement of faith which underpins the life and work of the school. Planting the seeds for success through a spiritual and caring learning environment, our children spend their days enjoying a varied and happy education. We are a loving and active school community founded on core Christian values. Working together, the parents, staff, governors and parish, support the children in becoming the best they can be.

Together with our core values of Respect, Friendship and Perseverance we encourage children to meet the challenges of life ahead by fostering positive attitudes towards one another, acquiring knowledge and skills and promoting a life-long enthusiasm for learning. Ultimately, we want our children to leave us as confident and happy individuals; ready to embrace the next phase of their education.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” (Philippians 4:13) so that I can be the best that I can be and flourish for God, for others and for myself.

We are situated in the village of Shifnal which is a growing market town and our school is currently growing also - with an exciting new build project under way!
